My plants are dried out, discolored and they are dropping leaves. What do I do??

After the past heat it is imaginable that not all plants have survived. Look around and you see damaged plants. Has the heat damaged your garden too? Here are some tips:
• Cut the dried of burned parts of the plant and place them at the bottom, as a protection layer (after watering).
• Remember the vulnerable places in your garden. Here you need to add compost next spring, to prepare them better for drought in the summer. Compost holds moisture.
• After rain you can add fertilizer until the end of August.
• In any case don’t start to grub up your plants, only next spring you will see the true damage.
